The Steppes Farm Antiques 17th / 18th Century Silver Filigree Pomander.

 A 17th / 18th Century Silver Filigree Pomander.

Previously with Steppes Farm Antiques.

I am very grateful to David Buck of Steppes Farm Antiques for allowing me to use his photographs.

Size - 18 x 30 mm.

Probably used as a Pomander, but possibly for use as a medicine box, the user would set the hand to the time of the next dosage (See: 'Silver Boxes' by Eric Delieb, page 30, plate 41).
