Silver Filigree Mounts on Books at Skoklosters Castle.

Skoklosters Book No 1. (my numbering).
A notebook with five leaves of horn or el. ivory stapled
with black silk. Sharkskin bindings with fittings and buckle in filigree with
mirror monogram GM, in center medallion below count's crown. Lock (key
missing), as well as silver-coded holes for lacing note sheets. In the back
there is a place for a pen. Contains five ivory leaves laced together with
black silk and eight paper leaves.
