Another Indian Silver Gilt Filigree Casket.

Length: 18.4cm, width: 12.2cm, height (including handle) 15cm.

I believe 19th Century Cuttack.

Very fine filigree work again using the small individual comma shaped pieces.

On his website Michael Backman suggests c. 1750 from Orissa (Orisha). North East India.
