Oval silver-gilt box and cover, lined with red velvet. Lid
mounted with oval enamel plaque depicting a Biblical scene of Rebecca at the
well; sides and lid decorated with filigree silver mounts and gilt rosettes.
Provenance; Acquired by King George V.

Oval, tall tin with protruding base and lid
plate. On the wall and the flat lid leaf tendrils in filigree technique,
bordered by strongly twisted silver wire. Oval medallion on the lid depicting a
charitas in enamel. On the back of the medallion, inside the lid, green parrot
surrounded by flowers, probably French.
