The Burghley Silver Filigree Casket

 

The Burghley Silver Filigree Hexagonal Casket.

17th/ 18th Century.


As far as I know this the only casket of silver filigree that is extant in this hexagonal form.

They say 19th Century but I have no hesitation in declaring it much earlier.




No size given.
